911±¬ÁÏÍøP/ECU Brody School of Medicine Early Assurance Scholars Program (see application below):
The Early Assurance Program is a partnership between ECU Brody School of Medicine (BSOM) and 911±¬ÁÏÍø Pembroke. Two of the 80 seats in the entering BSOM class are reserved three years in advance for outstanding students who have completed 30 credits undergraduate work. In recognition of the honor of being selected as an Early Assurance student at BSOM, 911±¬ÁÏÍøP will provide a merit scholarship for the two students selected for the remaining casework at 911±¬ÁÏÍøP. This scholarship will assist the student in covering expenses, including tuition, books, room and board.
Note: Room and board consists of on-campus double occupancy housing ONLY.
911±¬ÁÏÍø Pembroke students who are North Carolina residents may apply for the BSOM/911±¬ÁÏÍøP Early Assurance Program.
ECU School of Dental Medicine Early Assurance Program
The Early Assurance Program is a partnership between ECU School of Dental Medicine and 911±¬ÁÏÍø Pembroke, which guarantees admission of 911±¬ÁÏÍøP students into the ECU School of Dental Medicine's Doctor of Dental Medicine program, upon meeting specific criteria and requirements. Beginning in Fall 2024, one of the 52 seats in the SoDM will be reserved three years in advance for outstanding students entering 911±¬ÁÏÍøP as first-year students. Qualified students will be invited for an interview by the School of Dental Medicine as part of the application process.
911±¬ÁÏÍø Eshelman School of Pharmacy Early Assurance Program
An Early Assurance Program has been established with the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Eshelman School of Pharmacy (ESOP). This program offers early assurance of admission into the 911±¬ÁÏÍø ESOP Doctor of Pharmacy Program after a minimum of two years of undergraduate study at 911±¬ÁÏÍøP. Candidates will be selected based on academic and non-academic strengths identified by 911±¬ÁÏÍøP's NC-Health Careers Access Program (NC-HCAP) in conjunction with the Department of Biology and Chemistry and through performance after the first year of study at 911±¬ÁÏÍøP. Up to five students will be admitted annually through the Early Assurance Program.
911±¬ÁÏÍøP/NC State College of Veterinary Medicine Scholars Program
911±¬ÁÏÍø System Veterinary Education Access (911±¬ÁÏÍø SVEA Program) (see application below):
911±¬ÁÏÍøP and NCSU have developed an agreement establishing the first-ever 911±¬ÁÏÍø System Veterinary Education Access Scholars (911±¬ÁÏÍø-SVEA) Program, set to begin in the fall of 2017. The program allows for two students, plus one alternate, from each first-year class entering the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine to be selected from the 911±¬ÁÏÍøP Department of Biology. All 911±¬ÁÏÍø-SVEA Scholar students will be required to complete all academic requirements for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at 911±¬ÁÏÍøP, as well as meet all academic requirements for admission to NCSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
911±¬ÁÏÍøP/Tuskegee University
College of Veterinary Medicine Pre-Veterinary Medicine Scholars Program
911±¬ÁÏÍøP and Tuskegee University have established a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Scholars Program to be implemented fall 2017. This program will serve as a pipeline to prepare and inspire talented 911±¬ÁÏÍøP undergraduate students who wish to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Under this MOU, each year, two qualified 911±¬ÁÏÍøP students from the Department of Biology will be guaranteed acceptance into the Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine.
911±¬ÁÏÍøP/Methodist University Physician Assistant Program (see application below):
Methodist University’s Physician Assistant Program has entered into an articulation agreement with 911±¬ÁÏÍøP designed to strengthen the program’s goal of encouraging diversity in the health professions programs. Through the agreement, Methodist will reserve a maximum of two seats in the program for qualified 911±¬ÁÏÍøP graduates who are from Robeson, Scotland and Hoke counties beginning with the Class of 2023.
