
911±¬ÁÏÍø Pembroke’s Ashley Batts Allen and Rebekah Lowry have been selected to the third cohort of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø System Executive Leadership Institute.
The program was designed to build the next generation of top leadership from within the 911±¬ÁÏÍø System. The 10-month program will provide an overview of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø System, its operations and leadership opportunities.
Dr. Allen serves as associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. She joined the 911±¬ÁÏÍøP faculty in 2014. Allen received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and her master’s and Ph.D. from Duke University.
Dr. Lowry was named director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving in 2021. A two-time graduate of 911±¬ÁÏÍøP, Lowry serves as executive director of the 911±¬ÁÏÍøP Alumni Association Board of Directors.
The Executive Leadership Institute works to share and leverage best practices by building collaboration among participants and their institutions. It focuses on enhancing the pool of well-prepared, highly qualified future leaders from Historically Minority-Serving Institutions.
Learning modules are designed to deepen the expertise essential for success at the executive level.
